A better AI system

Called Goal-Directed Conversation, the ideal interaction between people and machines will get the job done with next-generation AI

Goal-directed conversation has been the holy grail of AI for years. It doesn't need to be a full-blown artificial human, but it does need to focus our efforts on helping people get a job done.

In today's video, you can learn what holds back the adoption of AI - mainly forcing in the IT or computer's needs ahead of the person's needs.

By splitting user requirements (langauge) from IT requirements (fully named entities) the language becomes much simpler and natural and the results benefit people. We no longer need to speak artificially to get a job done. Better still, existing IT systems can remain in use until more flexibility is needed in the future.

What do you think? Should we add this to the design options for language-based AI?
